Perfectly balanced, as all things should be

It took years to get Spider-Man into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Now Spida-Man Donovan Mitchell is trying to bring Peter Parker’s girl, Zendaya, into the Jazz Cinematic Universe. Many Jazz fans have seen Donovan Mitchell working on his shot all offseason long on Instagram. Ever since Spider-Man: Far From Home filming occurred Donovan Mitchell has been firing from long range on IG and Twitter.

The next happenstance of this was right after the Spider-Man:Far From Home premier.

Then throughout the summer ... Donovan Mitchell could be seen liking Zendaya’s IG posts, tweeting about Zendaya, and politicking Sony to bring Spider-Man back to the MCU.

Donovan Mitchell even was on Josh Hart’s podcast talking about Zendaya.

Then yesterday, Donovan Mitchell shot the shot heard round the Social World. He’d been working on his game all summer AND THIS SPIDA-MAN IS GONNA GET HIS MJ.

No outward response from Zendaya. Donovan Mitchell had missed. BUT NOT TO WORRY. Rudy Gobert knows that every good NBA player needs a wingman. A sidekick. As Ned would say, “The Man In The Chair.” Luckily, Donovan Mitchell has one of the best at clearing obstacles so he can be successful. The man who leads the league in screen assists: Rudy Gobert.

If you think that bringing someone from MCU into the NBA Cinematic Universe is out of the question. Just check out Klay Thompson this summer bringing Laura Harrier (played Peter Parker’s love interest Liz and daughter of the Vulture) into the NBA Cinematic Universe.

Now that Spida-Man has the Stifle Tower as his “Man In The Chair,” maybe he’ll be able to shoot his shot next time and not miss.
