Et tu, #TakeNote?
The hashtag #TakeNote is back from the dead. #TakeNote is here to kick *** and chew bubblegum and it’s all out of bubblegum. The much maligned and terribly generic and ridiculous #TeamIsEverything (cuz, ya know, duh) is gone. If you type in #TakeNote on twitter, you will notice that it now has a Jazz note on the end of it.
Last season, the Utah Jazz unnecessarily put to bed one of the most organic rallying cries of Jazz fans in favor of something that felt like a bad HR cross-functional team initiative slogan. Luckily, fans fought back, demanded #TakeNote to return and our efforts have been rewarded. Backpedaling was had after the initial announcement.
Imagine having a child (#TakeNote) and then having another one and loving it (#TeamIsEverything) and they'll both be in family photos (the internet) and one does not replace the other it's just expanding the family ( ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ ).

Except, in this scenario, your child (#takenote) dies & every family photo after that is without #takenote. It’s painful. Good try.

Imagine having a perfect hashtag and replacing it with an inferior one for no real reason.

I'll remember that as I watch games at the Delta Center

come on. What genius decided to move off #TakeNote? Y’all shooting from half court, just take the damn layup.

By the playoffs, #TakeNote was back—thank the basketball gods—and now we’re back to full-time #TakeNote.
On a much more serious note, the video put out is amazing. Who’s HYPED FOR TONIGHT???
